Product Details
For the second year in a row, we offer you this exceptional coffee from El Arbol in Nicaragua.
Experience the finest coffee from Dipilto, Nicaragua, at its peak with our El Arbol Carbonic Macerated Gesha Variety. This exceptional coffee has garnered praise from coffee connoisseurs worldwide and is now available in our collection.
The Story of El Arbol: Nestled in the northern region of Nicaragua, El Arbol enjoys the ideal conditions for producing extraordinary coffee. Situated at an elevation of 1300 meters above sea level, this farm, owned by World Barista Champion Sasa Sestic, collaborates with the skilled team at Bridazul to create a coffee of unparalleled quality. The introduction of gesha trees in 2017 marked the beginning of a remarkable journey, culminating in this year's exceptional harvest.
Carbonic Maceration Fermentation: The coffee cherries undergo a unique Carbonic Maceration fermentation process within temperature-controlled steel tanks. This process continues until achieving the perfect pH level. The cherries are then carefully dried on shaded African beds, ensuring the preservation of fruit intensity and the authentic cultivar characteristics.
Taste: The flavor profile reminds us of lavender and rose aromas with notes of purple grape, raspberry, red rose, cherries, and a lingering cranberry finish.
