Amazing exclusive: CGLE Gesha X.O.
We won the Swedish National Barista Championship in 2013 with a coffee that I will always cherish, the Cerro Azul from Café Granja La Esperanza in Colombia.
Now we have the great honor to release the tweaked version Gesha X.O!
This is the same coffee our good buddy Lex Wenneker used to place 2nd at the World Barista Championship 🏆
Since then, we have numerous times had the fresh crop Cerro Azul Gesha at the roastery and this X O. version is extremely exceptional!
The superior complexity, vibrant acidity and wide range of flavors define this premium Competition coffee, offered fresh from the Gesha X.O 2023 crop. We are proud to provide you with this exceptional competition style coffee from the team at Café Granja La Esperanza and us at Standout Coffee.
Taste Description: Fragrance of jasmine, vanilla, tamarind. Notes of cognac, strawberry, pineapple, violets, pronounced sweetness, malic acidity, creamy body, with a long finish on the palate.
X.O. Fermentation: Manual and rigorous picking. Between 48 and 50 hours of fermentation in cherries with controlled temperature. The coffee is collected in the indicated maturation.
Drying: After fermentation, the coffee is left for hours in the silo and then is moved to solar drying for 28 days. Afterward, it is in our storage for 3 months to help stabilize it and reduce the astringency of freshness.
Always fresh: This item contains 100 grams divided into 2 x 50 grams of whole beans roasted, packed and shipped on demand for maximum freshness.
