Three neighbouring producers have combined their Gesha harvests into a single micro-lot, creating a coffee that shows both the quality emerging from San Agustín and what can happen when small volumes of an exceptional variety are brought together with intent.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe cup opens with \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003ejasmine and elderflower\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, followed by \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003epomegranate, goldenberry and blood orange\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e. Ripe peach and white peach bring sweetness and softness, while the finish remains light, floral and distinctly Gesha.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eLa Muralla is an informal collective of young producers in \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSan Agustín, Huila\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e. For this lot, \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHermilda Bolaños, Edwin Astudillo and Ilmer Ivan Gomez\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e consolidated their Gesha harvests rather than keeping their individual volumes separate, allowing them to create a larger, variety-specific micro-lot without losing its small-producer identity.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe cherries were hand-picked at peak ripeness, floated and depulped on the day of harvest.
