Product Details
Story: At Finca Meridiano, coffee cherries are manually selected upon arrival at the processing station. The cherries are then pulped, washed, and dry fermented in tanks for 18 to 20 hours. After fermentation, the parchment coffee is washed again with spring water and laid to dry on African beds inside polytunnels. Once the coffee reaches the desired humidity, it is packed in GrainPro bags and transported to Quito for storage until export.
Taste Description: Experience beautiful floral aromas with notes of green apple, mandarin, and a subtle honey finish.

Farm Info: Finca Meridiano began its journey as a coffee farm in 2011, covering 25 hectares, with 10 dedicated to coffee production. Owned by Mario Hervas, the farm is renowned for its quality, earning a high reputation among Ecuadorian coffee producers. Located on the western foothills of the Andes near Quito, the farm benefits from a unique microclimate with less aggressive humidity and rainfall compared to the rest of the north-western growing region in Ecuador. Finca Meridiano exclusively produces Typica Mejorado, with seeds germinated by Mario himself. In the coming years, the farm will also start producing Gesha and Pink Bourbon.
