We selected Cherry Mountain because it carries the kind of memory that only very few coffees can. It reminds us of the iconic 2017 championship profile from Ninety Plus, where depth, sweetness and structure came together in a way that helped define an era of competition coffee. Cherry Mountain belongs to the highest tier of coffees we have ever selected.

The cup is rich, round and deeply satisfying. Black cherry leads the profile, followed by a heavy cream sweetness that gives the coffee weight, softness and depth. There is power here, but it is controlled. The fruit is generous, the texture is full, and the finish carries a nostalgic sweetness that feels both familiar and rare.

Cherry Mountain shows the more embracing side of Ninety Plus. Where Yuzo Pink is lifted and precise, Cherry Mountain is deeper, rounder and more generous. It is a coffee selected for its emotional quality as much as its technical quality — a reminder of why certain coffees stay in memory long after the cup is finished.

Best brewed as filter for depth and texture. We recommend V60, Kalita or Origami. For espresso, this coffee can produce a dense, dessert-like competition-style shot with a longer ratio and careful resting.
