Grown in the fertile, mountainous region of Huila, this exceptional coffee comes from the El Casino farm, perched at an elevation of 1700 - 1800 meters above sea level. Here, the unique Pink Bourbon variety is cultivated with care and expertise by José Elcias Martínez Guzmán and his wife, Francy Helena Inga.
Flavor Profile:
This Pink Bourbon coffee offers an amazing flavor experience. Soft florals that give way to vibrant notes of pink lemonade and raspberry candy. As you continue thought he cup, you’ll discover hints of guava juice, culminating in a complex, refreshing black tea finish. It’s a perfect blend of fruity brightness and intricate depth.

Process: Hand-picked at peak ripeness. Floated to further remove defects and de-pulped on the day of harvest. Dry fermented for 30 hours. Dried on raised beds.

The Story Behind the Coffee:
José’s passion for coffee runs deep. Though he left his coffee-farming roots to work as a bus driver across Colombia, the call of the land brought him back two decades ago. Today, alongside Francy, José manages the 10-hectare El Casino farm, dedicating half of it to cultivating premium coffee varieties like Caturra, Pink Bourbon, Gesha, and Tabi.
But coffee isn’t the only love in José and Francy’s life. Their compassion extends to the many abandoned dogs they’ve taken in over the years, providing a loving home to these animals in need.
