We’re in Shanghai for two big reasons, and they are overlapping and happening in a few days. First of all, we're having our own booth at the world’s biggest fair, HotelEX 2026, and two days after the fair opens, we ourselves open the doors for our first Pop Up here in Shanghai.
HotelEX - Over 200 coffee brands are represented, and we have been lucky enough to get a booth in the center of the coffee area. Over the last couple of months, we stocked up with some stellar coffees from prestigious farms in Panama, Colombia, and Ecuador, and we can't wait to share the lineup of coffees with the Chinese coffee community.
Together with some great names like MaMe, Rosé, Sibarist, and many stellar coffee brands, we will between the 30th of March and the 2nd of April serve a lot of coffees. If you’re in the area, swing by our booth. 8.2D115.
Coffee Cube Pop Up -I love this place, and from the first time we visited in October last year, our goal was to do the one-month pop-up that selected brands do. The concept is simple but so smart. They have a coffee bar setup in a beautiful house right next to the park that hosts the Lujiazui Coffee Festival. Eight times a year, they change the profile and branding to a new coffee company and, together with the brand, skilled baristas run the pop-up café for a month. For us at Standout, the chance to take over the cube came fast after the coffee festival in October, and we took it. The café will be open seven days a week starting on the 1st of April. If you’re in Shanghai, you need to visit us. We have two amazing coffees as espresso, one Aerobic Washed Castillo from Catalina Gutierrez and a sparkling Aerobic Washed Papayo from Yuri Montanzhez. On pour-over, we offer our full lineup of 10+ competition-style coffees from farms like Hacienda La Esmeralda, Ninety Plus, and Finca Mikava.
For the upcoming day, we will prepare our packaging, set up the booth, and get the last details done for the cube.
