Are the beans always whole beans?

Yes, we preserve the full flavor by avoiding grinding, that's up to you to grind out!

Can you gift a subscription?

Yes, just use an alternative shipping address to send beans to your loved ones.

The Standout Competition Coffee Subscription is our most focused subscription. Each month, we select a rare coffee from the same world of producers, varieties and processes that shape the highest level of modern coffee competition.

These are not everyday coffees. They are small, expressive lots chosen for their ability to show what coffee can be when variety, terroir, farming, processing and roasting all meet at the highest level.

This subscription is for those who want to taste closer to the source of coffee’s most ambitious work.

Why subscribe?

The Competition Coffee Subscription gives you access to coffees that are usually released in very small quantities. Many come from producers known for championship-level lots, rare varieties, experimental processing or long-term work at the edge of quality.

Each month, we choose one coffee because we believe it deserves attention. Not because it is simply rare, but because it carries a distinct expression, a clear point of view and the kind of cup profile that stays with you.

Previous selections have included coffees from names such as Ninety Plus, Gesha Village, Finca Deborah, La Palma y El Tucan, Lamastus Family Estates and other producers whose work has helped shape the global competition scene.

What you receive

Each box contains 100g of whole bean competition-grade coffee, roasted by Standout Coffee and packed in our Standout Coffee box.

Every release includes a rare coffee selected for its quality, character and significance. You also receive tasting notes and brewing guidance to help you approach the coffee with clarity, whether you brew at home, serve it in a coffee bar or use it as part of your own competition preparation.

This is a subscription built around access. The quantities are limited, the coffees are carefully chosen, and each month is an opportunity to taste something that sits at the top end of what we release.
